So as not to bore
you silly, we have tried to keep our Terms and Conditions as straightforward
and brief as possible.
Booking:
Before a booking can be
accepted the booking form must be completed and signed by the designated
party leader. The lead name must be 25yrs of age or older and must
take full responsibility for all payments and correspondence. Dates
are not held until a booking deposit of £100.00 GBP per week is
received. The balance must be paid in full 10-weeks before arrival
date.
Security deposit:
The deposit (£200.00 GBP) will be refunded when our management
company confirm everything is in the same order as when you arrived, the
contents are intact and that you arrived and vacated the property within the
agreed times and dates.
Florida State Law
insists that all occupants are listed on the booking form including children
and infants.
This must be adhered to. The property may not be shared, sub-let or
assigned to other persons.
What’s included:
You have
the use of the property, including all utilities except pool heating for
which a supplement is payable. The property is cleaned and prepared
for your arrival. Maid service however is not usual in Florida private
homes. Sorry you are going to have to tidy up after yourselves.
Rental Times
are 4pm on the arrival date to 10am on the day of departure. Unauthorised
early entries and late departures will be subject to a £30.00 GBP
minimum charge as this means our management company cannot clean the villa
for other guests arriving. If no other guests are incoming, a late
departure may be arranged with our management company. Stays of 6
nights or less will in incur a cleaning fee of £50.00 GBP. Guests can
arrange to arrive earlier or depart later if the villa is unoccupied.
No smoking
is allowed inside the property. However, smoking is permitted outside
on the deck area. It would be appreciated if the ash trays provided
are used. Should any cigarette burns be found the appropriate charge
will be deducted from the security deposit.
NO PETS
are allowed.
Access may be required
by authorised personnel for maintenance at any time.
Good neighbours.
All guests should occupy the property in a responsible and courteous manner.
Please be aware that some neighbours may be permanent residents.
Security:
Guests are expected to take all reasonable security precautions, including
locking ALL doors and windows and setting the security alarm whenever
they leave the property. Your insurers may decline your claim if you
fail to do so. Security is in your hands – just because you are on holiday
– remember the BURGLARS are not.
Complaints:
In the unlikely
event that you may experience any problems with the property you should
contact the management company immediately, who will do their best to assist
you and remedy the matter as soon as is practically possible. Should
the problem remain unresolved please contact us (the owners) immediately.
Complaints or problems reported after the departure date will not be
accepted or considered.
If pool heating is
required there is an additional charge (£80.00 per week). The
owners cannot guarantee the temperature of the pool as this will vary
according to the time of year. Please order at time of booking
wherever possible. The swimming pool is used entirely at the guests
own risk. No diving is allowed and children must be
supervised at all times, whilst in the pool area. Glass is not
permitted in the pool area at any time. Plastic utensils are provided
for your convenience. Any problems regarding the pool, please contact
our Management company.
Cancellation:
If you need to cancel the booking the owners must be informed in writing.
Cancellation prior to 8 weeks before the arrival date will result in loss of
booking deposit only. Cancellation less than 8 weeks before the
arrival date will result in total loss of rental charge. The security
deposit would be refunded. If we don’t receive payment or communication on
due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
Force Majeure:
as with any other holiday, there are circumstances completely beyond our
control, in which the property may not be available for your booking.
Such circumstances are referred to as “Force Majeure”. In the event of
“Force Majeure” the owners will do their best to make alternative
arrangements for you where possible. If they cannot or if the
alternative arrangements are unacceptable to you, then they will refund all
monies paid to them. This will be the full extent of the owner’s
liability in such circumstances and the owners cannot be responsible for any
other costs connected with any such cancellation, however arising.
The owners and their
management company accept no responsibility whatsoever for death, personal
injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons belongings however caused.
The use of the accommodation is at the users own risk. Children must be
supervised at all times by a responsible adult, ESPECIALLY WHEN USING THE
POOL AREA.
This
contract is subject to and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of
England and all parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
English courts. |
